Issue/Introduction

After upgrading Performance Management to 21.2.2, I can no longer see Mediation Manager data

After deploying a new device pack on Mediation Manager 21.2.2 when integrated with Performance Management 21.2.2, we cannot see any new data 

Cause

The upgrade to Apache Karaf altered the directory structure so Mediation Manager is unable to export the needed information

Environment

All supported releases containing an upgrade to Apache Karaf

Resolution

To update a Presenter to utilize the updated Karaf pathing:

1. Log in to the Mediation Manager UI

2. Click the 'Device Packs' menu item followed by the 'i' within a circle icon on the far right of the Presenter to update:

3. Click the Configuration item on the right and it is the OUTPUT_DIRECTORY that we will be making changes to:

4. Using the Karaf upgrade from 2.4.3 to 4.2.6 as an example, using default paths, the changes will be:

/opt/IMDataCollector/apache-karaf-2.4.3/MediationCenter

to

/opt/IMDataCollector/apache-karaf-4.2.6/MediationCenter

5. Once the changes are made, ensure you hit the Save button at the top of the window then click the Close button in the bottom right:

6. The last step we need to do is to restart the Presenter in question to allow it to utilize the changes.  To do this you need to select the checkbox to the left of the Presenter and click the Stop button, followed by the Start button:
