Applied a lot of fixes of CA Scheduler yesterday. Today, checked JCL with CA Scheduler interface and received many messages.
This also caused our production system to run slowly.
CAY6595I JCLCHECK DYNAMICALLY INVOKED ' ADRDSSU' NOT PERFORMED
When we run the same job in batch, there are no CAY6595I messages and the job completed correctly.
There was no impact to system performance.
Is there any JCLCHECK issue related to CA SCHEDULER interface while checking ADRDSSU utility?
Installing Scheduler maintenance caused the error.
Release : 12.0 - Component : CA JCLCheck Workload Automation
Release : 11.0 - Component : CA Scheduler
Z/OS 2.4
The message can also appear with CA/7 and Roscoe.
Product working normally.
CA/Scheduler SYNCHK feature does not support ADRDSSU and will issue message:
CAY6595I JCLCHECK DYNAMICALLY INVOKED ' ADRDSSU' NOT PERFORMED
ADRDSSU uses a large amount of storage which can cause storage abends in a TSO / ROSCOE environment.
Due to the large amount of storage that is required by utility ADRDSSU.
This checking will NOT be done in CA/Scheduler, CA/7, ROSCOE or ISPF.
Checking for ADRDSSU can be successfully done in batch.
The message can be suppressed with MCOSYS option.
