How to stop or restart CA Connection Broker service

Issue/Introduction

Start and Stop buttons are greyed out for service "CA Connection Broker" :

 

 

 

Command csampmux stop does not work and returns :

"CA Connection Broker" service failed to stop - The requested control is not valid for this service. (0x41c)

How to stop or restart this service ?

Environment

Client Automation - Any Version

Resolution

 

caf and cam must be stopped to be able to stop or restart csampmux

 

Here are the commands to stop campmux :

 

caf stop

cam change disabled

camclose

csampmux stop

 

 

And here are the commands to restart it :

 

csampmux start

cam change auto

caf start
