Issue/Introduction

z/OS Agent terminates with the following error on the agent log file

U02000010 Connection to Server 'IP address(5,ID=254)' terminated.
Receive-Error 1127(EDC8127I Connection timed out.)on Socket 6(ID=IP address)

 

Environment

Release : 21.X, 24.X

Component : z/OS Agent

Cause

TCP/IP Port and Agent Port are blocked

Resolution

• Check the UCXJM25.INI cp = and port =
  • example:
    • cp = cphost:2217
    • port = 2300 
• Ask your network admin to open those ports to resolve the issue
