Unable to launch CA Test Data Manager Portal

CA Test Data Manager (Data Finder / Grid Tools)


When trying to launch CA TDM 4.9.1 Portal, we are getting the following error message:

This page can't be displayed

Turn on TLS 1.0, TLS 1.1, and TLS 1.2 in Advanced settings and try connecting to https://<hostname>:8443 again. If this error persists, it is possible that this site uses an unsupported protocol or cipher suite such as RC4 (link for the details) which is not considered secure. Please contact your site administrator.




The problem was with the IE 11 browser. We verified that IE 11 was configured to use TLSv1.2, since this is the default protocol used by the TDM Portal, however the page is still not able to display.

The customer updated the browser to Microsoft Edge and the Portal is able to launch.
