Issue/Introduction

• We are experiencing performance problems with our Jaspersoft 7.1.
• High CPU and high RAM memory utilization daily in which we cannot connect/use Jaspersoft

Environment

Release : Jaspersoft 7.1

Component : CLARITY JASPERSOFT

Resolution

• In heap dumps issue is caused by a Jaspersoft Audit job: 
  • auditEventArchiverJob
• It spins 2 threads which fetching 4mln+ records each and consumes the entire RAM memory.
• This is an issue with Jaspersoft Audit / Auditing domain.
• Check to see how often to make sure this job is scheduled:

• We suggest to disable audit on this environment:

• Then restart the services and see again if the issue occurs
• This issue is possibly addressed in Jaspersoft 7.8
