Issue/Introduction

After applying ACF2 PTFs the system would not IPL, ACF2 terminated with the errors:
ACF79952 REQUIRED DATASET LIST TEST NOT DEFINED
ACF8A995 UNABLE TO ALLOCATE DATABASE CLUSTERS - TERMINAL ERROR

The 'ACF79952 REQUIRED DATASET LIST TEST NOT DEFINED' and 'ACF8A995 UNABLE TO ALLOCATE DATABASE CLUSTERS - TERMINAL ERROR' messages indicate that the ACF2 start command is specifying DDSN(TEST) and the ACFFDR does not have a TEST DDSNS group defined. For example:

S ACF2,PARM=’DDSN(TEST)’

Based on the ACF79952 message either the ACF2 start command is specifying a DDSN 'TEST' that is not defined in the ACFFDR or an ACFFDR is being picked up that does not have DDSN 'TEST' defined.
