User lockout for unsuccessful attempts

Does the tool have the security configuration, which allows blocking a user after N failed attempts?

Release : 17.3

Component : SDM - Classic UI

Resolution

Currently there is no such feature existing in Service Desk Management app so any implementation for it has to be thru third party identity provider. For example, you may consider EEM authentication and set the locking for users if certain number of failed attempts happen. Another example is, if you use SAML authentication you may explore SAML identity provider configuration to block end users if failed attempts exceed the set limit.
