Issue/Introduction

For documentation purposes it may be necessary to understand the format of the scheduled backup files. This article explains how the filename for the backups i determined.

Environment

CA PAM all releases

Resolution

The scheduled backup files have the following format:

 

gkscheddb`date +%Y%m%d%H%M%S`_"$CURRENTVERSION

For instance gkscheddb20210913103501_13020000.gz  designates a backup taken on September 13, 2021 at 13h 35' 01'' and the version was 1302
