Issue/Introduction

Having an issue when we are trying to start policy server on a new server we are trying to ad d in our production environment for HA/load balancing purpose.

We made sure we set the entropy etc but still having an issue.

The startup in smps log stops at the following line:

5224/140116034373440][Tue Aug 31 2021 11:28:41.330][XPSAudit.cpp:705][GetXPSAudit][INFO][sm-xpsxps-06870] XPS Auditing is enabled.
[5224/140116034373440][Tue Aug 31 2021 11:28:41.336][Database.cpp:736][InitDB][INFO][sm-xpsxps-03460] No validation warnings will be logged (controlled by CA.XPS::$LogValidationWarnings).

Resolution

Customer took a copy of current policy servers from an existing server, extracting that tar file, modifying the required configurations to resolve the issue.
