Any TMON compatibility issues when Installing InterTest for CICS in the same CICS environment?

Issue/Introduction

InterTest for CICS has the following installation requirements when being installed in the same region with TMON:

To use InterTest for CICS with TMON, InterTest for CICS transactions must be excluded from the TMON Resource Limit (Time Out) Specification.

 

Resolution

InterTest FOR CICS has a couple of long running service transactions.

These transactions must be excluded from TMON Resource Limit (Time Out) Specification. For example InterTest for CICS transaction ISER runs for the life of CICS or the VTAT transaction which manages users testing at breakpoints.

TMON may interrupt these transactions as hanging and purge them.

This will cause unpredictable results or InterTest for CICS may abend.
