                                                           [FAILED]

Executed waae_agent-WA_AGENT start...............................FAIL 1

Autosys: r11.3.6 SP8

OS: Linux RHEL 7.9

Environment

Release : 11.3.6 SP8

Component : Workload Automation System Agent

Resolution

Check to see if anything is listening on the agent port (default port# is 7520). Check to see if there is another cybAgent process that is running by doing a ps -ef | grep cybAgent. If there is another Agent running on the the same machine, you will need to specify a different Agent port in the agentparm.txt file and also in the Agent machine definition.

If you had an old Agent installed on the same machine and the Agent process was not stopped when installing the new Agent, you may need to kill the process for the old cybAgent process.
