Why VTAM dynamic applications are not discovered during NetMaster Automation's network discovery process?

Issue/Introduction

The SNA network discovery is carried out using /PARMS group AUTOSNACNTL. 

 
Why application models and applications using those models (dynamic applications) are not discovered during the discovery process?

OS:  z/OS

Resolution

On OML $RSNDPR (Network Automation Discovery Process), near line 360, the comment says:

/*****************************************************************/
/* WE DO NOT WANT TO DISCOVER APPL MODELS               */
/*****************************************************************/

So, application models and applications based on models (dynamic applications) are intentionally not discovered, because they cannot

be monitored reliably, based on the received VTAM message traffic.
