Finding CA RS PDF Reports

Issue/Introduction

Where in the Broadcom site can the CA RS PDF Reports for Datacom products be found, so one could look at each CARS level and find which PTFs are being received/applied.

Environment

Release : 15.1

Component : CA DATACOM/DB

Resolution

1. Once you're logged on to the Broadcom Support portal, click on the MAINFRAME SOFTWARE box.
2. Then scroll a bit down and click on the "View Installation and Maintenance Tools"  link within the Installation and Maintenance Tools box.
3.  On the next page, you'll find the "Broadcom Recommended Service (aka CA RS)" link. Click on it to open the "Recommended Service for z/OS" page.
4. Scroll down again, and you can find the following sentence:
   For more information, see Apply Broadcom RS Maintenance, Monthly Broadcom RS Reports, and Broadcom RS Frequently Asked Questions.
5. Click on the "Monthly Broadcom RS Reports" link and there you can find the reports for each monthly CARS.
6. Click on the report you want to check (CARSnnn) and then search for the Datacom link you need. Click on it and then the PDF file will be displayed.
