Issue/Introduction

There has been a rare occurrence where 1 or more component output files' retention day value is set to 1 day even though the last component of the Process Flow contains the Job RESET_FLOW_RETENTION_DATES with a default retention value of 60.

The expected behavior is described in the documentation link below:

Overriding Job Retention Days Setting at the Process Flow Level

The issue appears with output generated by the first component of the Process Flow. Further review of the output file's JobID, the JobID with match the Process Flow's JobID.

Environment

Release : 9.3.x

Component : APPLICATIONS MANAGER

Cause

Component output files are being generated with the Process Flow's JobID instead of being assigned its own distinct JobID.

The cause is still under investigation.
