Where do CAVARSRV enclaves come from?

Issue/Introduction

There is an enclave owned by CAVARSRV on each LPAR. Client is concerned because he doesn't know where it comes from and it is assigned to the SYSOTHER WLM group, which he describes as low priority.

Where does this ENCLAVE come from, and is SYSOTHER appropriate?

Cause

SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR wants to know about ENCLAVES.

Resolution

CAVARSRV creates an enclave at startup, and as documented in CAVARSRV Operation Overview "WLM policy customization is not required to run the CAVARSRV address space."  There should be no need to change the priority."
