Issue/Introduction

AAI not able to connect to Autosys scheduler during jammer cycle.

Errors below can be found in the jaws.log.

 

INFO [AbstractDbSessionHandler] Testing connection with default syntax for scheduler "Scheduler Name" (primary)

 

WARN [C3P0ConnectionProvider] No JDBC Driver class was specified by property hibernate.connection.driver_class

 

WARN [BasicResourcePool] com.mchange.v2.resourcepool.BasicResourcePool$AcquireTask@3d5e343c -- Acquisition Attempt Failed!!! Clearing pending acquires. While trying to acquire a needed new resource, we failed to succeed more than the maximum number of allowed acquisition attempts (1). Last acquisition attempt exception: : java.sql.SQLException: ORA-01017: invalid username/password; logon denied

Environment

Release: 6.0.2-1

Resolution

The scheduler's database user password expired.

 

After updating the password and was able to connect to the scheduler again and allow it to catch up.

 

Verify the database user specified is correct and that the password is up to date.
