The OID from the CAS can be obtained from the MIB file by following the Download MIBs guide - Configure SNMP

1. Please go to CAS > Settings > SNMP > Download MIBs
2. Unpack the zip
3. To check what is inside the MIB file you can use ex. Ireasoning MIB Browser - an indispensable tool for engineers to manage SNMP enabled network devices and applications
4. Select the Bluecoat-CAS-MIB.mib
5. Choose the the object you’re interested in ex. private>enterprises>bcsi>bluecoatCASMib>blueCoatCasMibNotificationObjects> avVirusDetails
6. Find the OID corresponding to the object

 

• Filescan > casFilesScanned
• ICAP files scanned > casICAPFilesScanned
• Viruses detected > casICAPVirusesDetected
• Virus details > AvVirusDetials

 

PLEASE NOTE: OID can change over time after you upgrade the CAS version

 

Example:

• snmpwalk -v 2c -c community <CAS-IP-ADDRESS> <OID>
• snmpget -v 2c -c community <CAS-IP-ADDRESS> <OID>
