Issue/Introduction

Information from job flow components that utilize the BO-RA agent are stored in the AW_CHAIN_DETAIL_XML table.  Some entries have data on both the aw_comp_xml and aw_comp_xml_clob fields, but other entries have data only on the aw_comp_xml_clob field and 'null' on aw_comp_xml.

Are these fields essentially the same ?  with aw_comp_xml being "legacy"

Resolution

Yes aw_comp_xml is legacy. When the data types changed from long to clob columns got changed.
