Issue/Introduction

Bootwiz continuously runs on NBS server after rebuilding PXE config.

The bootwiz.log from the same NBS server shows repeated errors similar to the following:

Cause

In at least one case, the appid/service account didn't have rights on C:\Windows\Temp or the same directory was completely full

Resolution

On the NBS server, stop NBS/PXE services

End the bootwiz process in Windows Task Manager if still running

Delete (or backup then delete) the contents of C:\Windows\Temp.

If Windows errors are noticed, resolve environmental issues preventing deletion of these files. NBS/PXE services may need to be stopped prior to this step.

Start NBS/PXE services

Rebuild PXE config from the console or NBS server agent.
