Issue/Introduction

After upgrading the CA Identity Manager (IM) vApp to 14.4 the custom datasources fail to deploy with the error below:

2021-09-03 16:36:57,903 ERROR [org.jboss.as.controller.management-operation] (management-handler-thread - 1) WFLYCTL0013: Operation ("test-connection-in-pool") failed - address: ([
    ("subsystem" => "datasources"),

]) - failure description: "WFLYJCA0040: failed to invoke operation: WFLYJCA0047: Connection is not valid"

Environment

Release : 14.4

Component : Identity Manager Suite Virtual Appliance

Resolution

The error is caused by incorrect user credentials or incorrect access rights to the Database.

There are some known issues in the 14.4 GA (General Availability) Virtual Appliance that is addressed by the following fixes:

Data sources fix (DE495123)

JDBC fix (DE495125).
