When should the option QUITIDEAL be set to YES versus NO?

Resolution

With SET RUN QUITIDEAL set to YES in the SESSION OPTIONS, at the conclusion of the current application,

the Ideal session is terminated and a panel other than the normal Ideal signoff panel is displayed.

QUITIDEAL is documented in the Ideal Administration Guide and in the Ideal Command Reference Guide.

You can see what value QUITIDEAL is set to in the SESSION OPTIONS by issuing the command DIS SES RUN or DISPLAY SESSION RUN.

To set this option, issue the command SET SITE RUN QUITIDEAL YES/NO.

You need to log out of Ideal then log back on for this option to take effect. The default value is NO.
