Why are SQL-922 SQL Codes not captured on the Detector for Db2 for z/OS (PDT) SQL Error Detail Display?

-922 AUTHORIZATION FAILURE: error-type ERROR. REASON reason-code

Authorization failed because of the error indicated by error-type

Error-type Types of authorization failure:

• User authorization
• Plan access
• Duplicate exit requested
• Installation error
• Connect

Resolution

SQL-922 SQL codes are generated during the SIGNON process. Detector does not capture SQL errors incurred during SIGNON, DB2 CONNECT, CREATE THREAD,
or other Db2 activity not related to SQL statement execution, including deadlocks or timeouts that occur during the execution of these statements.
