Issue/Introduction

You have a requirement to block / whitelist the files with name conventions like below and need the steps to do so.

Resolution

If there is a use case to whitelist/Block the files with name conventions then we can provide the file name patterns as below in the DLP policy:

 

1. To block, login to the Enforce console and go to Manage Policies > Policy List > Create/Edit a Policy > Add a rule like below example:

 

 

2. To whitelist, login to the Enforce console and go to Manage Policies > Policy List > Create/Edit a Policy > Add an exception like below example:
