UIM - Azure probe version 3.14 displays incorrect host name

Issue/Introduction

There is an issue with the Azure probe, after deploying a new VM on the Azure server. The Azure probe displays an incorrect hostname in OC, the hostname and alias are wrongly discovered by the probe

Resolution

The build attached to this KB contains a fix for this issue.

Steps to follow:

1. Stop the azure probe.
2. Go to Operator Console and select Inventory.
3. From inventory delete the azure vm(s) having the issues with the name and please do not forget to uncheck the prevent rediscovery while deletion of the vm.
4. Download and deploy new probe v3.17T1. Do not activate the probe now.
5. Go to Azure Probe --> Raw Config --> Setup Section.
6. Add a new key "override_dns_name_with_computername" having value as "true".
7. Save and start the azure probe.
8. Please verify the issue and share the results with us.
