Customize mail alarms in UIM

Issue/Introduction

We need to customize the alarm message. We require updating the email message body format. We need to break $message into multiple parts in the HTML template and format it accordingly or use only those parts that we need.

Resolution

You can add custom messages to some probes by creating a custom alarm message and aplying it to the alarm/threshold. Do NOT change the default messages that come with the probe configuration otherwise they may be overwritten on upgrade.

You can click the button in the emailgtw probe to edit the template.html and add variables to the alarm message to be emailed.

If you need to break $message into multiple parts in the HTML template and format it accordingly or use only those parts which you need - this is NOT a supported option at this time.
