Issue/Introduction

Installation of the robot for UIM 20.3 on a Linux server is failing.

Environment

  • Release: 20.3
  • Component: Robot 9.33
  • Architecture: ppc64-le
  • Operating System: SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 15 SP1

Resolution

Check the robot support matrix for 20.3.

https://techdocs.broadcom.com/us/en/ca-enterprise-software/it-operations-management/unified-infrastructure-management/20-3/installing/product-compatibility/ca-uim-compatibility-matrix.html#concept.dita_3e0b025267e987b38f84e5c201b1b6f9da447ad5_RobotSupportMatrix

    - SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 15 on x86, and PowerPC 64 Little-endian (ppc64le) SUSE 12.x, is also supported,

but Architecture: ppc64-le Operating System: SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 15 SP1

   - is NOT supported for the robot installation.

Another option to monitor this server would be to use the RSP (remote system probe).

Please check the techdocs with deployment and configuration details of this probe:
