Issue/Introduction

Spectrum Domain Manager (SDM) TrapX not processing SNMP v2c traps as expected

Environment

Release : Any

Component : Spectrum Trap Exploder

Cause

The SNMP v2c trap needs to be translated to SNMP v1 before being sent to the SpectroSERVER.

Resolution

Added the following two parameters to the trapX.conf file and then restart the SdmConnectorService.exe process:

translate_v2c_traps

agentaddr_is_srcaddr_translated_v1
