Issue/Introduction

When we try to access couple of windows 2016 servers from our PAM, we get below error and users unable to logon. Direct RDP from local machine/terminal servers works but fails from PAM. This is stopping our users to access these Production servers in accessing to resolve any issues. - "This computer can not establish a session with the remote computer - Windows 2016"

Cause

In this case port 3389 was being filter between CA PAM and the specific windows  servers even though it was not being blocked from the end users workstations

Resolution

Opening port 3389 on the firewall allowed access
