Issue/Introduction

Getting a 403 response for one of the URL . Error message is "403 The server understood the request, but is refusing to fulfill it".

URL is reachable from the server when opened from a browser.

Verified below KB about disabling windows authentication and check security type.

Environment

Release: 20.3 or higher

Component: url_response

Cause

• User Agent is configured to use the default hard coded value NIMBUS.

Resolution

Follow below steps to change the User agent.

1.Go to url_response probe configure

2.Go to setup >> General Properties

3.and add user agent as Mozilla/5.0

4. test the url now. 

Additional Information

User Agent: 

specifies the user agent string that identifies your browser and provides certain system details to servers hosting the web sites to visit. If you do not provide any value, the hard-coded string NimBUS/2.0 is used, simulating that the client is a Nimsoft client.
