ITPAM service did not start with error EjbModule is already installed

Issue/Introduction

After applying the patch CP04 on top of 4.3.05, service did not start with below error message:

Error installing to Real: name=vfsfile:/C:/Program%20Files/CA/PAM/server/c2o/ext-deploy/c2oear-snapshot.ear.temp/ state=PreReal mode=Manual requiredState=Real

DEPLOYMENTS IN ERROR:
Deployment "vfsfile:/C:/Program%20Files/CA/PAM/server/c2o/ext-deploy/c2oear-snapshot.ear.temp/" is in error due to the following reason(s): java.lang.IllegalStateException: jboss.j2ee:module="c2oserver-snapshot.jar",service=EjbModule is already installed

Environment

Release : 4.3.05 CP04

Component : Process Automation

Cause

In the process of applying the patch CP04, the folder "c2oear-snapshot.ear" gets renamed to "c2oear-snapshot.ear.temp" and back to its original name at the end of patching automatically. 

In this case the folder didn't get back its original name and caused the issue.

Resolution

Rename the folder "c2oear-snapshot.ear.temp" to "c2oear-snapshot.ear".

Start the service.
