Deploy Image task fails to run through the configuration task

Issue/Introduction

When running the "Deploy Image" task the configuration task fails to run in both Deployment Solution (DS) and Ghost Solution Suite (GSS).  You'll see a get username or password error in console after running the "Deploy Image" task. 

In the c:\Windows\Debug\netsetup file the following error is seen:

Domain Join Failure Error NetpDoDomainJoin Status 0x8bf

In GSS the task is 'Modify Configuration'

In DS the task is 'Apply System Configuration' 

 

Environment

GSS 3.3

DS 8.x

Cause

Bad credentials were set for the Domain Account for Active Directory

Resolution

In the GSS Console go to Tools > options | Domain Account and add or modify the account and set the proper credentials for the Active Directory as shown here:

In the SMP Console, for DS, add the Domain AD credentials to the 'Apply System Configuration' task as shown here:
