Incremental DWH does not complete (MSSQL)

Issue/Introduction

Intermittently the Incremental job will not complete on SQL Server 2016

STEPS TO REPRODUCE:

1. Run Load Data Warehouse - Full
2. Note it completes fast
3. Schedule Load Data Warehouse - Incremental and monitor the performance

Expected Results: The job to be performing within reasonable limits

Actual Results: While some times the job takes 20 min, sometimes it takes 300+ and hangs indefinitely on different tables. Rebuilding the DWH database does not help

Environment

Release : 15.9.1

Resolution

This is DE62362, not reproducible in 16.x

 

Workaround: If convenient, run the Full Load instead
