Issue/Introduction

The DB2 MSTR address and MVS Syslog show the DCDCONTL Thread abend x'04E' reason code '00D3003B'.   

Example:  INFO=DCDADM:10.100.8.126:DCDCONTL:DCDCONTL-AGFT:*:*:*:<::10.10 .....22>

Cause

The DSN6FAC DB2 macro's CMTSTAT parameter was set to 'ACTIVE'.

Resolution

The DB2 DSN6FAC macro containing the CMTSTAT parameter was set to ACTIVE, and this caused the DB2 abend code x'04E' thread abends. 

Specifying INACTIVE for the CMTSTAT parameter resolved the DB2 abend code x'04E' Reason code '00D3003B' DCDCONTL thread abends.
