Issue/Introduction

Hi,

We installed latest OPMS 10.7.0.1 and noticed that JAR files for RTE are placed at /lib/ in jmeter4 folder.

Which wasn't working until we moved the files to /lib/ext/ folder.

Could you please look into it, validate and apply possible fixes in the the next release?

Environment

Release : SAAS

Component : CA APP SYNTHETIC MONITOR (WATCHMOUSE)

Resolution

Out of these files, only jmeter-bzm-rte-3.1.jar has to be in the /opt/asm/jmeter/4.0/lib/ext directory for the plugin to work. Files dm3270-lib-0.12.3.2.jar, jVT220-1.3.1.jar and xtn5250-3.2.2.jar should be in the /opt/asm/jmeter/4.0/lib directory.

Engineering confirmed that the files are present in their correct locations, both on a clean installation of OPMS 10.7.0.1 and in the Jmeter build available for download on our site: https://storage.googleapis.com/broadcom-asm/jmeter/apache-jmeter-4.0-ca23.zip

Please check that you have the correct version of the Jmeter package installed on the OPMS by running 'yum list installed | grep jmeter' .

Output of this command should include:

asm-smartpop-jmeter4.noarch          4.0-23                           @asm
