How to disable alerts to some administrator users, including API services.

How to send alerts to only specified administrators.

Release : 14.x

Resolution

By default, all administrators receive the default notification alerts. This can be changed by following these steps:

  1. In the Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager (SEPM), click on Monitors.
  2. Click on the Notifications tab and click on the button Notification Conditions.
  3. Select the desired Notification and click the Edit button.
  4. At the bottom of the pop-up screen, uncheck the option "Send email to system administrators".
  5. Check the option "Send email to (comma or semicolon separated): and input those administrators you wish to receive the notification alerts.
  6. Click OK to save the changes.
