Issue/Introduction

You want to download the current configuration for the Email Security.Cloud service

Resolution

The July 2021 release introduces Configuration Snapshot Reports, which allow you to generate a current snapshot of the configuration for a given Email Security service. In this initial release, the services covered are: Anti Spam, Anti Malware, Threat Detection, Threat Isolation and Image Control.

Generate Report

To generate these reports Go to Reports > Report Requests > Click Request a new Report > Give the report a name and click Continue.

#1 Select Data

Under Select the data you want to include  section, navigate to Core Email Reports and  click the arrow to the left of Configuration Snapshot Reports. The list of available reports appears. Use the check boxes to select the data to include in your report, and then Continue.

#2 Reporting Period

Select Timezone and reporting period and then click Continue

#3 Delivery Period

Select your preference for the Report Delivery from the options available and click Continue

#4 Confirm Request

Verify the Details and click Submit Request

View Report

To view this report, go to the Reports > Report requests page and then click the Download link in the Status column to the right of the report.

• If you specified the report to be sent in an email attachment with yourself as a recipient, the report is in the attached ZIP file
• If you specified the report to be sent in an email containing a link to a secure download area that you log into with your portal login details, with yourself as a recipient, click the link in the email, enter your portal login details, and open or save the ZIP file

Additional Information

To use Report requests, you must have the View Statistics custom role or the Reports standard role assigned to your portal account. Your account may have permission to generate reporting on specific services and/or domains, or on all services and domain
