Issue/Introduction

 

Does Top Secret support to issue following RESP2 code ?

- NOTAUTH RESP2=20 by EXEC CICS VERIFYPASSWORD
- NOTAUTH RESP2=31 by EXEC CICS CHANGEPASSWORD

The code means that the user's connection to their default group has been revoked. 

Environment

Release : 15.0, 16.0 

Component : CA Top Secret for z/OS

Resolution

The code is not issued in Top Secret environment.

The code is issued by the value of CGFLAG4 which indicates "If bit 0 is on, the user has the REVOKE attribute in that group". 
Top Secret does not support CGFLAG4 and set default values for fields.
