Managed Software Delivery does not follow Deferral time set in User run conditions

Issue/Introduction

A customer had created identical Managed Software Delivery policies in two separate zones configured to prompt the user with an option to defer the installation up to 10 days. However, in one zone the policy does not seem to follow the setting and only gives a 5 minute countdown.

We have confirmed that the configuration on both Managed Software Delivery policies are identical.

Resolution

The policies allow for a user to defer up to the configured amount of time, but the automatic restart with no user intervention is configured elsewhere.

To configure the amount of time for the automatic restart, navigate to Settings > All Settings > Agents/Plug-ins > Symantec Management Agent > Settings > Targeted Agent Settings.

On the User Control tab for each policy desired, configure the Warning Countdown durations as desired. The default settings is 5 minutes.
