Issue/Introduction
Planning a Gen 8.6 C server environment with two server machines, running in an active/active load balance scenario. Does Gen 8.6 support this?
Environment

Resolution
Load balancer configurations are not officially supported/tested with Gen.
However in theory this could work as follows with this example:
In a client/server deployment, a non-Gen load balancer would dictate which server machine is accessed based on the client request(s).
The client would use the commcfg.* file to reference the load balancer server which in turn would pick a server and that would reference the TE (aefuf/aefad) or Tuxedo to call the server module. It is assumed the two active/active machines reference the same database.
