Query regarding certain STGADMIN.DMS.STGADMIN... prefixed RACF class profiles for CA-Disk.
The following class profiles are listed in CA-Disk documentation.
Need to have explanation about what CA-Disk product features the following class profiles would control access to if they were defined.
STGADMIN.DMS.STGADMIN.ARCHDUMP
STGADMIN.DMS.STGADMIN.DSETMAP
STGADMIN.DMS.STGADMIN.ISPF.AQUEUED
STGADMIN.DMS.STGADMIN.LOADLIB
STGADMIN.DMS.STGADMIN.MIGRATE
STGADMIN.DMS.STGADMIN.REPTAPE
STGADMIN.DMS.STGADMIN.SEQMIG

These are used for Sequential Migrate
STGADMIN.DMS.STGADMIN.MIGRATE
STGADMIN.DMS.STGADMIN.SEQMIG
These are used for diagnostic functions when requested by support
STGADMIN.DMS.STGADMIN.ARCHDUMP
STGADMIN.DMS.STGADMIN.DSETMAP
STGADMIN.DMS.STGADMIN.LOADLIB
STGADMIN.DMS.STGADMIN.REPTAPE
The STGADMIN.DMS.STGADMIN.ISPF.xQUEUED profiles are checked for ISPF functions of
LIST - QUEUED ARCHIVE/RESTORE REQUESTS
LIST - (OR DELETE) QUEUED ARCHIVE/RESTORE REQUESTS
Where x is
LQUEUED for list
DQUEUED for delete
AQUEUED for both
The difference in STGADMIN.DMS.STGADMIN.MIGRATE and STGADMIN.DMS.STGADMIN.SEQMIG is that STGADMIN.DMS.STGADMIN.SEQMIG covers the whole sequential migrate process itself; that run by the MIGRATE proc.
STGADMIN.DMS.STGADMIN.MIGRATE, however, covers only the MIGRATE command itself, which is for a particular data set name. Recall that for sequential migrate, you can migrate a specific data set by using the MIGRATE command, or migrate a larger number by use of the SCAN parameter.
So for the MIGRATE command, would need access to both, but for the SCAN command, only STGADMIN.DMS.STGADMIN.SEQMIG is checked.
Also note that for the MIGRATE command itself, that resource (STGADMIN.DMS.STGADMIN.MIGRATE) comes from the SECURCMD member of PARMLIB, whereas STGADMIN.DMS.STGADMIN.SEQMIG comes from the STGADTBL table, pointed to from the PARMAUTH member.
