Error from Data Aggregator activemqstat script

Issue/Introduction

activemqstat script was used and it showed an error.

Below the error was the queue information sought, so it did work, but before that this error appeared.

[[email protected]<hostname> scripts]$ ./activemqstat | grep <hostname>

log4j:ERROR setFile(null,true) call failed.

java.io.FileNotFoundException: /opt/CAPM/IMDataAggregator/broker/apache-activemq-5.15.8/data/activemq.log (Permission denied)

....

log4j:ERROR setFile(null,true) call failed.

java.io.FileNotFoundException: /opt/CAPM/IMDataAggregator/broker/apache-activemq-5.15.8/data/audit.log (Permission denied)

 

Cause

The  Apache ActiveMQ Admin Console has been disabled and replaced with the

/opt/IMDataAggregator/scripts/activemqstat

Script.

Example usage:

/opt/CAPM/IMDataAggregator/scripts/activemqstat

Or

/opt/CAPM/IMDataAggregator/scripts/activemqstat | awk '{print $1" queueSize="$2" prod="$3" consumer="$4" enq="$5" deq="$6" fwd="$7" memoryUsage="$NF}' | grep irep | grep <DC-hostname>

Environment

Release: 21.2

sudo user is managing CAPM

Resolution

Prefix sudo to your management commands when running as non-root user with sudo privileges.

Example usage:

sudo /opt/CAPM/IMDataAggregator/scripts/activemqstat

Or

sudo /opt/CAPM/IMDataAggregator/scripts/activemqstat | awk '{print $1" queueSize="$2" prod="$3" consumer="$4" enq="$5" deq="$6" fwd="$7" memoryUsage="$NF}' | grep irep | grep <DA-hostname>

Additional Information

Make sure that you have properly edited your sudoers file to allow access for your sudo user:
