Issue/Introduction

Jaspersoft reports and Ad Hoc view are only displaying partial data for Cost Plans

In both Clarity Classic and Modern UX the Planned Cost data displays correctly for example a value of 30,000 is displayed.

However when the Load Data Warehouse job run, only partial data gets displayed in the Jaspersoft reports and Ad Hoc views although all Fiscal slices are correctly configured

Cause

This was reported as DE60921

 

Resolution

Engineering has determined this is not a bug and as a workaround,

1) untick the checkbox for "Consistent Fiscal Periods across Entities" in the Clarity => Administration => General Settings => System Options page.

or

2) Only enter per-period metrics in the period type the plan is created as. For example, if you plan is an Annual Plan, make sure your per-period metrics are set as annual and enter the values as annual periods.  Note, with this setting your total will be spread across each period.

   If you need to enter specific values in certain months, the plan should be created as Monthly and not Annually

In the Data Warehouse database, the fact table - DWH_FIN_PLAN_PERIOD_FACTS is not getting populated correctly
