DDTRS0105E error when using Datacom DDTRSLM SET IMPORT MODE DSF

Issue/Introduction

Datacom Datadictionary batch utility DDTRSLM using option SET IMPORT MODE DSF fails with:

DDTRS0105E INCORRECT PARAMETER 'MODE'

Resolution

The SET IMPORT MODE DSF option has been deprecated since Datacom 12.0 and has been removed from the documentation.

DDTRSLM is primarily intended for use in an SQL-only environment. Objects such as tables and keys that are used by non-SQL programs could experience some anomalies when transported using this facility.

If a table is accessed by both SQL and non-SQL programs, we recommend that the Batch Transaction Generator (DDBTGLM) be used to transport tables, and DDTRSLM be used for the SQL-only objects such as plans, procedures, views, and so on.
