Symantec VIP Transport Layer Security (TLS) 1.0 and 1.1 disablement
Transport Layer Security (TLS) 1.0 and 1.1 are security protocols for establishing encryption channels over computer networks. Due to evolving regulatory requirements, and as part of Broadcom's continuous effort to maximize the security of our platforms, TLS v1.0 and v1.1 will be disabled on all VIP Web Portals. After the change is complete, TLS v1.2 will be the only supported TLS version.
Only the following VIP web portal URLs are affected.
Administrators should take the necessary steps within their environment to prepare for the change, including updating browsers to support TLS 1.2 (the retirement of insecure TLS protocols was announced by Microsoft, Google, Apple, and Mozilla in 2018).
The change will be part of the October 2021 maintenance release.
