VDI/WVD disconnects with WSS Agent

Issue/Introduction

When using VDI with the WSS Agent (WSSA), the VDI disconnects after a few minutes.

Resolution

It is recommended to bypass the VDI executables on the WSS portal. Below are the VDI executables:

1) msrdc.exe
2) msrdcw.exe
3) mstsc.exe

If WSSA 7.3.1+ is being used, then wildcard can be used for bypassing the applications. Entries for VDI executables will be :

1) **/msrdc.exe
2) **/msrdcw.exe
3) **/mstsc.exe

with Validation Type set as None. 

For WSSA versions between 7.1 - 7.3.1, the default path for the executables is C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\Apps\Remote Desktop

*:\Program Files\Remote Desktop\*
