Issue/Introduction

Description:

CA DLP includes functionality to control print functionality including Print Screen. In order for DLP print functionality to work in a Citrix Presentation Server version 10 environment, a registry fix is needed to keep the ALT+PRINTSCREEN keyboard shortcut available on the local desktop.

Solution:

Before you modify the registry, make sure to create a back up of the registry and ensure that you understand how to restore the registry if a problem may occur.

On the Citrix client system, change the value of the following registry key:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Citrix\ICA
Client\Engine\Configuration\Advanced\Modules\WFClient
Value Name: ICAPrntScrnKey
Type: REG_SZ
Value: <value>

For example: Value: F12

Where the Print Screen function in the ICA session has been assigned to the F12 key.
