Unable to login to EDR GUI with temporary password

Issue/Introduction

After clicking the "Forgot Password?" link on the Endpoint Detection and Response's (EDR) Graphical User Interface (GUI), you receive a temporary password.  When attempting to use the temporary password to log in to the EDR GUI you are unable to do so as the GUI reports "User name or password is incorrect".

Cause

There is a '.' at the end of that temporary password which is not part of the password.

Resolution

Ensure that the '.' is not included as part of the temporary password when attempting to log in.
