Login error for user invited to join a BlazeMeter account

Issue/Introduction

A new user gets a "Blocked access" error while trying to access BlazeMeter after clicking on the Accept link in the email invitation to join BlazeMeter.

Clearing the browser cache from the beginning of time does not give the user access.

The user also never receives an email after clicking on the "Forgot password" link on the BlazeMeter LOG IN page.

Cause

When accepting an invitation to join BlazeMeter, the link takes users to the BlazeMeter LOG IN page.  If the users never registered with BlazeMeter, they will not have a BlazeMeter userId and will not be able to login until they complete the BlazeMeter registration.

Resolution

From the BlazeMeter LOG IN page that the Accept link in the email invitation to join a BlazeMeter account, select the REGISTER link:



Complete the registration fields, then select the REGISTER button to create the BlazeMeter userId.  This will also add the new user to the account that the email invitation was sent out from.  The new user should then receive another email with instructions for setting their BlazeMeter password.
