Issue/Introduction

After bringing up Top Secret on password AES 256 encryption, can you revert back to AES(128)?

Environment

Release : 16.0

Component : CA Top Secret for z/OS

Resolution

Switching back to  Top Secret AES 128 password encryption from AES 256 should be no issue even after users have already changed their passwords under AES 256.

Top Secret knows if AES 128 or 256 was used to encrypt a password and branches to the appropriate Top Secret code to process the password.
